Kumon of Steeplechase History Kumon Steeplechase opened in June of 2001 as Kumon West Road. In March of 2006, we moved to the Kroger Center at the corner of Jones & West Roads, and we became Kumon Steeplechase. In January 2011 we moved to our own building, located at 11110 Steeplecrest, adjacent to the Steeplechase Shopping Center at the corner of Jones and West Roads. Since it opened, Kumon Steeplechase has helped over 2000 students reach their potential. We're here for your family too! Kumon is a 50 year old program, originating in Japan, which has served over 16 million students to date worldwide. Kumon of Fairfield Kumon of Fairfield opened January, 2010, at 15202 Mason Road, Suite 500, Cypress, TX 77433 in Fairfield. We are excited about bringing Kumon to Fairfield!
